Dibrugarh University has announced the DUPGET(Dibrugarh University PG Admission 2025) 2025 entrance test for admission to various postgraduate programs, including MA, MSc, MCom, and M.Ed., offered by the university and its affiliated colleges. Eligible candidates who have passed, appeared, or are appearing in their 6th semester BA, BSc, BCom, or other undergraduate exams can apply online through the official portal. Interested candidates must take the entrance test to secure admission to these postgraduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria of DUPGET

Eligibility criteria for admission in to various master degree courses under Dibrugarh University are as follows:

Master of Arts (MA) Course

1. Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR

2. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in CBCS must have studied minimum 24 Credits in the subject applied for admission.

Master of Science (MSc) Course

1. Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR

2. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in CBCS must have studied minimum 24 Credits in the subject applied for admission.

Master of Commerce (MCom) Course

1. Bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in the concerned subject securing at least 45% marks or equivalent grade point. OR

2. Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subject applied for admission and 45% marks in aggregate in case of the candidates of General Programme or equivalent grade point. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in CBCS must have studied minimum 24 Credits in the subject applied for admission.

Note:

# Candidates appeared/ appearing in the 6th Semester B.A., B.Sc., B. Com Examinations, 2025 and waiting for their results are eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2025 and can get provisional admission if selected.
# Candidates appeared/ appearing in the Final Semester Examinations and waiting for results but have backlog in 2nd and/ or 4th Semester Examinations are also eligible to appear in the DUPGET 2025 and can get provisional admission if selected.

Application Fee of DUPGET 2025

The applicants shall be required to pay the Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- only (Rupees one thousand only) through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form. No other mode of payment is accepted.
